Tupi Water District Agro-Forestry Livelihood Program in the Watershed Area at Sitio Kafok Brgy Acmonan, Tupi.
Cacao farming has been introduced to local farmers of Sitio Kafok along with distribution of other fruit-bearing trees in the community. The aim of this project is to divert their attention from Kaingin practices, stop the Slash and Burn activity and introduce income stream to the locals.
As of today, the program is flourishing. Farmers are now enjoying their farm produce; selling their dried cacao beans to the market while protecting the nature at the same.
